NEC Birmingham 30th April-2nd May

Fire Safety Event, NEC Birmingham 2024

We'll be talking all things NVQ and Gold Cards at The Fire Safety Event 2024.

In January, we became the first in England to offer the EAL Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Providing Electronic Fire and Security Systems. Updated legislation 'The Building Safety Act October 2023' highlights the requirement for duty holders to ensure that they are using competent Fire Alarm Engineers. These changes mean that for the first time, regardless of years in the industry, fire alarm engineers must obtain an industry-recognised qualification and subsequently hold an ECS Fire, Emergency, and Security Systems (FESS) Systems Technician Gold card or an ECS FESS Systems operative card. Zzeus are now able to offer fire alarm engineers qualifications for both routes. Visit our stand to learn about what qualifications you now require and how to obtain them.

The Zzeus team will also be on hand to answer any questions related to the design, installation, commission, and service of fire alarm systems, and BS 5839-1:2017.

Be sure to come over to stand 5/D97. Drinks provided!
